Pricing and Discounts

R C Innovations offers very competitive prices across its product range. To help you understand our discount policy and the savings you will make when you order on line, our discount policy is shown here.

  • Normal Prices are available to anyone on our telephone sales line.
  • On Line Prices are available to anyone who orders on-line. You can register now--it's free and easy and you will benefit immediately from on line prices.
  • VAT for Channel Islands customers only VAT is automatically applied when ordering online. Please contact us for information about how to obtain products VAT free. Please also see our delivery charge information.

All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Promotions

From time to time we issue promotional offers which require a code for redemption. If you have a promotional code you will need to enter it into the box on the basket page. Please make sure you enter the code in the exact format provided. If the promotion entitles you to a free gift, note that your basket will not be updated and the free gift will not be shown on your web order. Your free gift will be delivered with your goods. All promotional offers are subject to change and withdrawal without notice.

Delivery and Charging Policy

Standard delivery takes place within 5 working days. With express delivery, the first attempted delivery should be on the next working day. Items we normally hold in stock are indicated by the "stock item"

We always endeavour to source these products as soon as possible, but should a product not be available for despatch within the stated period after you place your order we will advise you of the expected despatch date as soon as we can. You can of course cancel at this time if you do not wish to wait. For your security we use the Datacash secure payment system. Your debit / credit / charge card is charged at the time of the order but we will, of course, refund in full if you cancel your order prior to despatch.

Your delivery address will default to your registered card holder's address. You may change this at the time of ordering. However, for orders requesting delivery to addresses other than the recorded card holders address we may undertake additional security checks.

Delivery charges

We keep our delivery charges low and simple.

Standard delivery is FREE for all orders with a total value of more than £60.00 (inc. VAT and excluding delivery), and £3.98 for orders with a total value of £60.00 or less (inc. VAT and excluding delivery).

We offer express delivery if you’d like your order to be delivered quicker than our standard delivery. Express delivery carries a supplement of just £3.99.

Delivery Schedule

For orders received Monday to Friday before 5.00pm we will endeavour to process and despatch your order on the same day. We will aim to despatch all orders received by 5.00 pm to be delivered on the 3rd working day following. Therefore an order received by 5.00pm on Monday is likely to be delivered on Thursday.

Non stock items

Items not held in stock will be ordered from the suppliers on your behalf and despatched to you on the day they are received by us. Each product shows whether we expect despatch to be within five or 21 days of your order being received. Once despatched, orders are likely to be delivered on the 3rd working day following.

Please note, deliveries to Northern Scotland and offshore locations may take longer.

Express Delivery

We offer express delivery if you’d like your order to be delivered quicker than our standard delivery. Express delivery carries a supplement of just £3.99.

Stock items

For orders received Monday to Friday before 5.00pm we will endeavour to process and despatch your order on the same day. Delivery will usually be on the next working day. Orders received Monday to Friday after 5.00pm or on Saturday or Sunday will be processed on the next working day and usually delivered on the following working day.

Non stock items

Items not held in stock will be ordered from the suppliers on your behalf and despatched to you on the day they are received by us. Each product shows whether we expect products to be despatched to you within five or 21 days of your order being received. Once despatched, orders will be usually be delivered on the next working day.

Please note, deliveries to Northern Scotland and offshore UK locations may take longer.

* Our delivery schedule is calculated from when we receive your order, not when it is placed. If your order is placed outside office hours we will not receive it until the next working day. “Working day” is defined as Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

With your delivery we will enclose your invoice and a customer information sheet.

If we need to despatch an order in several parts we will not make any additional charges for delivery.

Overseas orders

We regret we cannot accept orders from overseas customers at this time.

Channel Islands

We regret that due to carrier charges we have no option but to apply an extra delivery charge for the Channel Islands. However, items that can be despatched by Royal Mail incur no extra delivery charge ~ this will, of course, depend on the weight and value of your order. Please contact us to confirm applicable charges.

Non delivery

In the unlikely event that your order is not delivered within 14 days you must contact immediately so that we can investigate the reason(s) for the delay. We are unable to accept liability for non delivery of your order if we are not notified with 14 days of the date upon which your order was placed.

Payment

Payment can be made on-line or on the telephone by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Debit Card (Switch or Visa Delta).

Please note that we are unable to accept postal payments by cheque, postal order or cash.

Your Invoice

Your invoice will be supplied with your delivery and shows details of products and services purchased from us. It also shows your customer ID and order number. Please keep these safe, as you will require them if you have a query or wish to make a future purchase.

Your Invoice Address

Your invoice address must be your registered card holder address. If you move house and wish to change this please use the change invoice address section of our customer services pages. Note that your invoice address must always match your registered card holder address.

Cancellations, Faulty Items and Returns Policy

    Cancellations
  • You may cancel your order at anytime before our despatching process has begun. If you do not require an item once it is delivered you may return it (subject to conditions), see below for details.

Our returns policy is simple, fair and straightforward.

    Returns-items not required
  • If you purchase an item from us that you wish to return because it is not suitable or required, you can return it to us within 14 days of delivery providing that you contact our Customer Services team within 7 days of delivery to request return of your item. We will credit you in full (excluding any delivery charges) provided the item(s) are returned unused, in original packaging and in pristine condition. We will expect you to pay the return postage/carriage charges. You must arrange return through our Customer Services team who will issue you with a returns authorisation number and information on how to return the item(s).

    Any items returned which are not in pristine condition or have not been received by ourselves within 14 days of delivery will be returned back to you or be subject to a £15 restocking fee (or 15% of the product price, whichever is the greater). The restocking fee will be deducted from any refund given where this applies.

    Returns-faulty items
  • If you purchase an item from us that within 12 months from delivery, develops a fault under the terms of the manufacturer's guarantee, we will replace the item. We will issue full returns information via post which will enable the safe return of your product via our preferred carriers at no cost to yourself. You must first contact our Customer Service team to notify us about the faulty item. We will then advise on how to return your faulty product and arrange its replacement.

    Any items returned which are found not to be faulty, are not in pristine condition or have not been received by ourselves within 14 days of delivery will be returned back to you or be subject to a £15 restocking fee (or 15% of the product price, whichever is the greater). The restocking fee will be deducted from any refund given where this applies.

NB: We cannot under any circumstances refund any postage or carriage charges you incur.

It is our recommendation that customers return products in such a way that they obtain either written confirmation of RECEIPT or a certificate of posting from the Post Office when returned as we cannot accept responsibility for products not received. In some cases it may be prudent for the customer to ensure the product is insured in case it goes astray.

We will not accept returns of multiple quantities of an item. If you are in any doubt as to the suitability of the product, we would recommend that you purchase a single item. If unsuitable you will be able to return it to us under the "items not required" conditions above. If it is suitable you can then place a further order for the multiple quantities.

We will NOT refund return and outward carriage charges for addresses outside the UK. These charges must be borne by the customer.

Complaints

All complaints will be dealt with equally and fairly. We aim to respond to all complaints within one working day and to resolve all complaints within five working days.

Security and Privacy

Our security and privacy policy gives you peace of mind.

R C Innovations is hosted on secure servers. Your personal details including your credit card number are kept private and are protected during transmission using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 128 bit encryption. This means that when buying online from our shop your card details are kept protected from unauthorised eyes, which of course is not always the case when using your card in some of the more conventional ways.

When you enter any secure website area you will see the locked padlock icon in the bottom right of your browser's screen.

For online purchases

R C Innovations does not hold your card data once a purchase transaction is completed. Whilst this means you need to take a few moments longer to enter your payment details it means an order cannot be placed without your payment details being entered by you at the time of the order. We think this extra security is worth a few extra moments of your time.

Privacy Policy

The information on the form you submit when buying products, requesting information, registering or sending feedback will be held and used by R C Innovations, its representatives and its business partners in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act for the purpose of order processing, account administration, statistical analysis, business analysis, marketing and consumer research. You may be contacted via e-mail, letter, telephone or other reasonable means of communications to assist us in our consumer research activity.

This information may be used by R C Innovations, its representatives or its business partners to keep you informed of products and/or services which may be of interest to you. If you prefer not to receive such information, or participate in such research, tick the box at the end of the Data Protection statement before submitting your details.

You have a right to know about the personal information that we hold about you. You also have a right to have your data corrected or deleted. Please address all your requests and/or queries about our data-protection policy via our feedback form.

In addition, like most other e-commerce web sites, our site uses "cookies". These are small files placed in your browser to provide a more personalised experience. The text in a cookie, by itself, only tells us that you have visited our site before. A cookie generated by our site contains no information about you and does not gather information from your computer about you. It contains only an alphanumeric ID that, for example, allows you to retrieve your shopping basket. In this way, the cookie lets you continue shopping where you left off on your last visit, rather than requiring you to start again from scratch.

Calls to R C Innovations may be recorded and monitored for training and security purposes.
